Strong Kids, Strong City
Our church is partnering with Strong Kids, Strong City, which is a new nonprofit founded in 2017. The mission of SKSC is to equip the students of Joliet community schools with the resources they need to be successful. S.O.M.E – So Others May Eat Pancake Breakfast
We hold a free pancake breakfast on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. for our local community.
Meals on Wheels
Our volunteers deliver Meals on Wheels to senior citizens on Thursdays from 10:45 a.m. until 12:45 p.m.
St. John Lutheran Food Pantry
On the first Sunday of each month, we accept offerings of cash and non-perishable food items to benefit St. John Lutheran Food Pantry.
Kids Hope USA
Our congregation is partnering with Taft School to provide mentoring for at-risk students. Our director is Linda Evans. We are in need of substitute mentors. If you can help, please contact Linda at 815.474.1409.

Senior Star
Our congregation holds events in partnership with Senior Star, such as laughter yoga and Virtual Dementia Tours (VDT®).
City of Joliet Emergency Management Agency Partner
Our church will partner with EMA to be a collection and distribution site in the event of a local disaster.
