Our church has opportunities for high school students to earn volunteer service hours:

• Mowing our church lawn during the summer
• Volunteering at our monthly free pancake breakfast to serve our community. Responsibilities vary from greeting and seating people, serving pancakes and coffee, clearing tables, and washing dishes.
• Other opportunities are available depending on the month

We encourage all of our members to get involved. Two special food ministries in Will County include:

St. John Lutheran Church Food Pantry

Northern Illinois Food Bank

We also have a Micro Pantry and Little Free Library. Each Sunday, we encourage each family to participate in the #1CanICan campaign to bring one non-perishable food or hygiene item to stock the pantry.
